
Jarek Wojcik was born in Szczecin, Poland. He studied painting and art history at the University of Poznan, graduating with an MA in medieval mural art. Wojcik’s work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at galleries in Hong Kong, Melbourne, Paris, Perth, Szczecin and Sydney, and group exhibitions in Europe, South Korea and Australia.
Wojcik is represented in the collections of the National Museum in Szczecin, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra, City of Stonnington, City of Yarra and the Copelouzos Private Art Museum in Athens. Private collections in Australia, Poland, New Zealand, USA, England, Malaysia, Austria, France, Sweden, Germany, Hong Kong and South Korea.
Wojcik moved to Australia in 1985, where he continues to live and work.
